Liberado enjoys unique stable weather and most important is historically hurricane free!


Security of weather is perhaps THE most important when considering the devastations from fires, floods, tsunamis, and hurricane damage. The Liberado location was originally selected to avoid the extreme and unpredictable growing threats of Mother Nature.

Natural protection is provided by the Baja Peninsula about 100 miles across the Sea of Cortez from Liberado which historically provided an immunity from hurricanes and ocean damage. The pristine desert environment is free from ravaging fires.

The Sea of Cortez where Liberado is located is a calm ocean and on often occasions resembles that of a peaceful mirrored lake.
